I love learning the history of propagandistic notions that have simply been accepted. Thank you for an excellent piece of content. And a hearty amen to offering valuable services to a generation of people who have lived long enough to gain some wisdom (hopefully) about what really will be valuable to themselves and their families long-term.

the problem is i've paid all this money into SS on the promise that i would be taken care of after 65 yo. now the government want to break its promise cause they wasted the money other unrelate programs for their own benefit (re-election), while the government SS is separate and protected. i want what i paid for.

I seriously doubt Social Security will be taken away, that's political suicide for either party. The real problem is SS isn't enough to live on without a lot of other savings or continuing to work.

they won't take it away but its worth a lot less that what it was when i signed up for it and its going to continue to go down while they give billions to the ukraine.
